The Department of Information Technology (IT) at Arul Anandar College, located in Karumathur, Madurai, is known first for Well Discipilned Students & Career focus programs aimed at providing students with a comprehensive understanding of modern IT systems.

The department started B.Sc Information Technology & Management was Started in 2002. The introduction of Choice based Credit System was introduced in 2003 and extended on 2008. In the year 2018 OBE pattern was introduced. In year 2024, the Degree nomencluture B.Sc ITM Changed to B.Sc IT.

The B.Sc. in Information Technology is designed to provide a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of information technology. The program focuses on:
